| | bitchy | ] | WARNING: Angry driver rant.
I really wish people in Brampton would learn how to drive.
You DONT make a fucking right turn when there's a car 100m down the road coming at 70km/h. If you do decide to be a fucking moron and make that right turn, you don't just meander along and slowly speed up. You hit the fucking gas and you had better accelerate like crazy so the car behind you doesn't have to slam on the breaks to avoid hitting your sorry rear end. Oh, and after that, you DONT drive at 40km/h when the speed limit is 80, the roads are fine, and the weather is fine.
LEARN TO FUCKING DRIVE OR GET OFF THE FUCKING ROAD.
End rant. |

| | Not Your Year- The Weepies | ] | Scattered shadows on a wall, you watch the long light fall Some impressions stay and some will fade Tattered shoes outside your door, clothes all on the floor Your life feels like the morning after all year long.
Every day it starts again You cannot say if you're happy You keep trying to be Try harder, maybe this is not your year.
Movies, TV screens reflect just what you expected There's a world of shining people somewhere else Out there following their bliss living easy, getting kissed while you wonder what else you're doing wrong
Breathe through it, write a list of desires Make a toast, make a wish, slash some tires Paint a heart repeating, beating "don't give up, don't give up, don't give up." |

| | Regina Spektor- On the Radio | ] | What a bad day for a track meet. Cold, wet, and miserable in general.
Anyways, first track meet of the year is always fun. Its great watching all the grade nine boys running the 1500 who think that they can sprint the entire race...they usually last the first 3/4 of a lap, maybe 1 and a 1/2 laps if they're lucky. You can always tell whos going to crash and burn and whos going to win, right off the bat.
So I ran the 1500 today, and since there were only 4 senior girls, they just stuck us in with the jr girls. Carlyn and I paced each other for the whole race, and after the first lap and a bit we were in 4/5 place. The girl who won was in my category, the next two were both mayfield junior girls, and Carlyn ended up out sprinting me by about two seconds, which meant fifth overall, and technically 2nd in my race which is pretty cool. I ran a 6:04, which really isnt that good, but for the first race of the seaoson its acceptable. I want to run a 5:45 this year, but that will take a lot of work, and to be quite frank, I dont give a crap right now about track.
Midterms are coming up soon! Which means half a semester left! |
